We are seeking a passionate and experienced chef who has specialized in Chinese cooking and Chinese gastronomy to join our dynamic team at YoYo Restaurantionsselskab ApS. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of traditional Chinese cooking methods and flavor profiles, as well as the ability to innovate and adapt dishes to a modern palate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and cooking of a wide range of traditional and modern Chinese dishes from the restaurant's existing menu.
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all dishes.
- Contribute to the development and renewal of the menu.
- Monitor kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a chef, preferably specializing in Chinese cuisine.
- Competence in Dongbei (Chinese North East) Gastronomy is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese cooking methods, ingredients, and flavor combinations.
- Creativity and innovation in developing new dishes and menus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of dietary handling and hygiene principles.
- Chinese language skills are a plus.
