Sushi Chef

We are seeking a passionate and experienced sushi chef to join our dynamic team at YoYo Restaurantionsselskab ApS. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional sushi-making techniques and flavor profiles, with the ability to innovate and adapt dishes to suit a modern palate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and crafting of a wide variety of traditional and contemporary sushi dishes from the restaurant's existing menu.
  • Ensure high quality and consistency in all sushi preparations.
  • Contribute to the development and renewal of the sushi menu.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a sushi chef, with a focus on sushi and Japanese cuisine.
  • Competence in sushi-making techniques, including nigiri, sashimi, maki, and others.
  • In-depth knowledge of sushi ingredients, including fish, rice, and condiments.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing new sushi dishes and menus.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene principles are a plus.
